About

Our client is Malaysia’s 1st curated overstock platform for Home and Renovation customers to find bargains. Sustainability is a key belief of the company to address environmental issues, when the founder found a direct proportion between unsold inventory and junkyard landfill.

For this reason, their aim is to reduce, reuse, and repurpose overstock material which can be found in construction junkyard. To date, they have repurposed more than 7 millions worth of overstock materials into 3500 homes in Klang Valley itself. They are looking for like-minded individuals to join their team and expand their market to other states.


Job Scopes

Recruitment and Onboarding:

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and create job descriptions.
  • Source and attract talented candidates using various channels such as job boards, social media, and professional networks.
  • Conduct interviews, assess candidate qualifications, and make hiring recommendations.
  • Coordinate and conduct new employee onboarding, including orientation, paperwork, and training.


Employee Relations:

  • Act as a point of contact for employees, addressing their questions and concerns.
  • Promote positive employee relations and foster a healthy work environment.
  • Handle employee disciplinary actions, grievances, and conflicts resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.


Performance Management:

  • Develop and implement performance management processes, including goal-setting, performance reviews, and feedback mechanisms.
  • Support managers in providing ongoing performance coaching and development opportunities for employees.
  • Identify and address performance-related issues and implement appropriate improvement plans.


Benefits Administration:

  • Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee perks.
  • Oversee the enrollment process, resolve benefit-related issues, and communicate updates to employees.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and insurance providers to ensure accurate and timely benefits administration.


HR Policies and Compliance:

  • Develop and update HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Monitor HR metrics and prepare reports on HR-related activities, such as turnover, absenteeism, and training.

Job Requirements

  • Qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven 2 years or above work experience as an HR Executive or similar role, preferably in a startup environment.
  • Solid understanding of HR practices, employment laws, and regulations.
  • Familiarity with HR software systems and tools for recruitment, performance management, and benefits administration.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
  • High level of professionalism and integrity.
  • Have no issue to work in Klang, HQ office (Bandar Bukit Raja)
  • Possesses own transport is preferred.
  • Languages: Mandarin and English
