Our client is Malaysia’s 1st curated overstock platform for Home and Renovation customers to find bargains. Sustainability is a key belief of the company to address environmental issues, when the founder found a direct proportion between unsold inventory and junkyard landfill.

For this reason, their aim is to reduce, reuse, and repurpose overstock material which can be found in construction junkyard. To date, they have repurposed more than 7 millions worth of overstock materials into 3500 homes in Klang Valley itself. They are looking for like-minded individuals to join their team and expand their market to other states.

Job Scopes

• Research and establish new business opportunities – including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products, and services that fill the business pipeline with prospects.
• Drive innovation for the generation of ideas and business development opportunities.
• Work with customers to provide feedback to development teams for new content and products.
• Create business development strategies; Identify roadblocks and drive new business from conception through closure.
• Work strategically – carrying out necessary planning in order to implement operational changes.
• Carry out sales forecasts and analysis and present your findings to senior management.
• Strategize, plan, and execute sales and marketing initiatives to achieve company’s targeted goals and increase market share.
• Attend seminars, conferences, and events where appropriate.
• Keep abreast of trends and changes in the business world.
• To execute other assignments assigned by the Management when required.

Job Requirements

• Proficiency in Mandarin is a must to apply for this role.
• Have no issue communicating in English and Bahasa for work purposes.
• Candidate must possess experience from a similar industry (building materials for interior design, eg. tiles, backsplash, bathroom shower, sinks & more) 
• Preferably candidate with a minimum of 1 year leading or managing a team experience in the sales field.
• Possesses own transport, and is able to work on a flexible schedule.
• Have no issue traveling within Johor Bahru for work.
• Have no issue to report to office based at Johor Jaya, Johor Bahru.
• Sales-driven, leadership, and organizational abilities.
